Looks like a great motor. They clearly left a lot on the table, power wise too.

Also, how about that, they built a modern y-block.

I can't wait to find out the details: bore, stroke, deck height, weight, length and width. I bet it's smaller than the FE, so should be able to slide in easily.

MMMMMM... a pushrod V8 engine! I believe that's Ford's first gasoline powered pushrod engine design since the 351M/400! And mated to one of TREMEC's new TR-4050 5spd manual transmissions, we can almost see a throwback type brand new powertrain that could power some of our slicks and bumps and dents. For a pretty penny, I'm sure.
