The 6.8L V10 wasn't one that smelled so good, especially the hand shaker ones.

All of my trucks have always passed the emissions test in MD. My first truck had the emissions idiot light come on after replacing pretty much everything but the exhaust manifold. Received the test notice in the mail and I pulled the light bulb out of the instrument cluster and took for its test and it passed.

The V10 had its problems complying and lead to its demise in the pickups. They're still being used in the 650,750, and motor home.

2016 was the last year it was offered in the super duty.

Its a thirsty engine but very reliable and strong.

That it is Rick. The 6.2 I have in my truck is a thirsty motor as well.
