Door switch question-Answered

I have a switch that is malfunctioning, causing the interior lights and running board lights to stay on until the relay shuts them off. I’ve narrowed the issue down to the rear hatch glass. If I’m not mistaken, there are two switches on the glass? One on each side? If I disconnect, will the issue stop, or do I need to replace?

edit: I did try the WD-40 method.

So I finally had daylight after work to see what was going on.
i removed the interior trim pieces around the rear hatch glass to gain access to the door switch(es). There are two. One in each side. I unplugged them both and my issue was resolved. The running board lights and interior lights now switch off after about 30 seconds.

The only "issue" you will find, is that when you open the rear hatch glass and not another door, is the lights won't come on/stay on... But. If you open another door, problem solved!
