Receiver things

I have really enjoyed this forum after buying my second E series van. I had the first one 20 years.
I would like to know what the things in the picture are used for. They slide into the 2" receiver, and are stored inside the van. In the picture with four items, the far right item is a holder bolted into the floor that holds the other things. There is another just like it already in the van. The picture shows all the other loose pieces. A hint might be that there is a 2 ton Sto-Away hoist/crane built into the back bumper, which is fully capable of picking up an engine and swinging it into the van.

The right item can hold the other items on the bed of the van. The other items slide into a 2" receiver, or into the holder.

This is folded version of the middle two items in the other photo

What I'd like to know:
1) what are they used for?
2) who makes them?
3) how much do they cost new (btw, I want to sell them eventually)?
4) how would they be used with the hoist/crane, or are they different things?
