I know this has been discussed some but am debating on which leveling kit to install on my pick up. I’m looking into the Carli commuter but am worried about it being to soft with my big heavy front replacement bumper. Does anyone have any experience with the commuter kit? I’m looking at ready lift, bds, and icon.

What bumper and with a winch?
My complete stock bumper assembly (2018 platinum) weighed 90lbs. My FabFour Matrix front bumper and winch came in at 205lbs - so 115lbs heavier than stock.
I use Carli level springs with Fox 2.5" shocks - Carli claims 1" sag for every 400lbs of additional weight on the front. I personally didn't measure before and after but visually I see no difference.
I have a ranchhand legend and occasionally have a winch in the front receiver hitch when I go on trips. I don’t mind a little rake but am worried that the shocks that come with the commuter will be too soft with the extra weight

Move up to Kings or Fox 2.5" - I got the Fox with DSC so you can adjust them pending on if your loaded up/towing or not.
How do you like your Carli springs? Has you ever ran any other shock with them besides the fox 2.5s?
I am happy with them. And no, the Fox's went on when I did my lift. IMHO 2" just seems too small for a truck this size, heck even my Tacoma I lifted has 2.5" shocks so I couldn't go smaller on my SD
