I have searched but couldn’t find specific answers, I have a 2019 f350 xl with standard radio, no sync or XM, I want to add XM. If I hard wire XM receiver to a power source and use the aux port for input will I have to scroll through all the inputs every time I start the truck? I don’t want a fm modulator, I start , 20-30 times a day in my business and want to just turn key and have XM radio on. I may just replace head unit to one w XM. I had to buy off of the lot and selection was limited with my needs. Thanks guys

I'd suggest if you're going to replace your head unit, you get an XM ready aftermarket one (Pioneer, Kenwood etc.) You can get a system with much more features, and better sound than a stock radio. Some of the higher end ones are even capable of displaying engine parameters also via a idatalink interface.
