Towing Package

I am thinking about buying a large bumper pull camper. It has dry weight of about 6100 lbs. I am trying to figure out if I have the HD towing package. I have the 7 pin connecter and what looks to be a bracket for a missing brake controller.

The front end has been rebuilt using F150 parts, but there does seem. To is an axillary cooloer in front of the radiator.

VIN if it helps... I tried the window sticker app but it doesn't work.

HD towing package comes with auxiliary transmission cooler, electric brake controller, and 7pin wiring harness along with a limited slip differential.

From your description it sounds like you do.

Is it an external controller or built in?

Should be built in directly below the AC controlls right above the console if it is a factory controller.

Where do I get the axle code? According to the VIN, It has 3.73 ratio if that helps... Pic of the radiator and additional cooler probably would help as the front clip was rebuilt with a F-150 clip.

If they used an f150 front clip the radiator and auxiliary transmission cooler would have been a direct fit, so as you say that’s not much help.

Without the factory brake controller and with an open differential, it points more toward “no” than “yes”

now you you have to decide whether that means anything to you or not.

SharpTJ:

I don't think you have it. I looked at the VIN report link for your vehicle. I have a 2011 Navi with the tow package. I ran my VIN through the same decoder, your VIN report would have an option entry like mine below.

Do you have the air shocks in the rear? It looks like you also get the load leveling air shocks with the Tow Package.
