2019 F450 King Ranch,
is there any way to shut off the back up alarm? when the tail gate is down and I am backing up to a gooseneck of 5th wheel it is continuously going off.
Agreed. The backup sensor is the only issue I have with my pickup. For the love of Ford, please let me turn it off permanently! Honestly I'd rather back into stuff than have the annoying beeping. And it interferes with my phone calls over bluetooth to the Sync also.
I like it working just not when the tailgate is down, I would think there is enough sensors and switches in the tail gate that it would know it is pointing down and disable it, especially after I select the high camera.
It should not have any errors, you just change the value to disabled. You also need to remove the settings from the IPC. Then its fully disabled from the truck.

Do you have the modules settings to make these changes? I do not believe it is as easy you want it to seem.
I am not aware of any settings that have been identified in the IPC or other modules to turn off PAM perm or temporary.
But the OP has a 2019. So couldn't you toggle to the BCM in forscan and adjust 726-46-02 xxxx xxx* xxxx Park Aid Feature Present Cfg: 0=not present, 1=present.
Do the 19's not have a pop-up in the message center like the 16's do?
When in reverse without a trailer connected I get this pop-up in the message center. Arrow Down and Press OK.....Alarm is temporarily silenced. If Ford took that feature away that is unfortunate.

I don't get the pop up, I have to scroll over to setting and then scroll down to rear park aid and select off
