96 f150 xlt steering problems
I'm having an issue with the steering on my 1996 f150 maybe someone on here can help me pin down what it is. My truck recently developed a power steering leak, shortly after that things got a bit more interesting. When I have it in park and I turn the steering wheel everything works fine.
But the last time I drove it, it was like the steering wheel wasn't grabbing the tie rod when returning the steering wheel to a straight position, then I had to rock it back and forth before the truck would stop swerving. I'm thinking the gearbox but it seems strange that it would only do it while driving and not while parked.
