My Drivers side door latch is worn down. I have release mechanism out and there are grooves in mechanism worn, such that when I try to open from inside, there is too much play and doesn't trigger latch
Is there ANY ford (merc, broncho, mustang) that had similar door latch and door release set up? When I look at LMC, then dont have the mechanism for a F100-250 door latch mechanism, They do have the inner release, but that is not the worn part
I guess my alterative is too pull out the rod and fabricate a new connecting rod that is shorter....

C8TZ-8121813-A .. Left Door Latch / Obsolete
1968/72 F100/750 (F100/250/350/500/600/700/750) //1967 F100/750 is not the same!
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any, none on ebay, not reproduced AFAIK
My interior handle was wore down on mine. I bought a new one from rockauto that looked exactly the same. They did send me the wrong part the first time but the second part was spot on.
