My 2006 f250 6.0 powerstroke which I bought a couple months ago has a six inch lift on 35s all “bullet proofed” but I went in and put in a new oil cooler recently and had the batteries out but we put the truck back together and everything works but my mpg was showing 11.7 before is now getting 10.1 but the day after I finished the oil cooler we had a tuner put on the truck and I got a custom tune made for it from quick tricks called looney tune so I’m just wondering what could have caused an mpg drop and what your mpgs are with like the same setup. Truck feels normal and makes around the same amount of boost as before sp I don’t know if it could be a boost leak or exhaust leak or something along those lines, it’s also my first diesel truck so I’m new to the diesel game, thanks for any input
I would suggest doing the hand calculations after verifying your GPS speed vs speedometer reading and figuring the proper correction. It's THE ONLY WAY to truly know your real MPGs. Some tunes will cause issues for how the Lie-O-Meter does its calculations.
