I'm reading on here about you all getting way more mpg than my 10 mpg (on a good day). What's this all about. The only mods I have are intake and muffler delete. Any ideas on what is possibly could be and what I can do to help this problem? Diesel is $4.15 a gallon around here and it hurts when I'm only getting the fuel milage I am. I should also mention that I have a 4" lift with 35's. I know that doesnt help.
Have you checked all the boots? if they are leaking, you will loose boost & mpg. Also, are the filters and oil fresh? this topic has been covered a lot as the price of diesel goes up. do a quick search and you'll find a lot of discussions on this.

Ben,
Here's a link I got when I did a "Search This Forum" with MPG entered.
Might only work for the original searcher so I am posting it to see if it works for anyone else. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...earchid=406820
Edit: I just clicked on it in this thread and it brought up the search results. Give it a try.
I think this is a little low. As i always go out of my way to keep her under 2,000 RPM and go 60MPH.
Ill check my boots - this is a good possibility. Also, what about the EBPV? The OP may want to try cleaning the tube and EBPV. Hear this can rob mileage
yea i think 12.5 mpg on the highway is quite low i can get now with the winter diesel about 15 or 16 on the highway and jumps to 19 during the summer...like you said check your ic boots make sure you have you tires up to the normal pressure...60-65 psi as well.
