How long from order to build date

How long from order to build date
Just wondering what's the average time frame from order to build date? It's been five weeks since my 2019 has been ordered and it still hasn't been assigned a build date.
The 2013 I currently have was ordered from the same dealer and it took nine weeks which included the Christmas and New year's holidays. Even my wife's 2018 f150 which was ordered the week before the big fire and plant shut down last year came in ten weeks.
I just wonder if there is a big rush of ordering 2019s since the 2020s won't get to the lots until around Nov.
Kind of wish I would've compromised a little more and just took one off the lot. The only reason I ordered was so I could get the manual transfer case

I am curious to know this as well. I ordered a Platinum long box beginning of July and was told it would be about 12 weeks until delivery to Alberta Canada. The only reason I ordered is it seems that all Platinum's that are ordered all have that big roof which I don't want when I spend time on gravel roads. I haven't followed up with my dealer yet. If you ordered 5 weeks ago with no build date, I'm afraid to even follow up with my dealer!

My truck is just a basic STX CCSB with the 6.2. If they are supposed to start building the 2020s in Sept I would assume we'll have our trucks by then.
I just hope Ford doesn't cancel the order and force me to take one off the lot. If I wanted to do that I would have last month and had my new truck by now.
A 2020 is out because there will probably be no rebates and I'd have to spend the extra money on the Tremor package to get the non lowered version. Plus I wouldn't have the truck until Nov at the earliest.

Plants were shut down from 6/28 till 7/8.
If you dont have a VIN within a week, 2 max of ordering, then it has to be a dealership allocation issue.

I ordered my gas F 250 4/8 and it delivered approximately 5/20. I just missed a factory shut down when the order went in. My truck delivered with a broken windshield which delayed delivery by a few days. But from order to my driveway was around 7 weeks.

I ordered my Lariat Ultimate about 6-30 and was told Ford picked up the orders on 7-15. Called my salesman on 7-18 and he told me build date is to be 7-29 and then maybe 2 weeks until they get my truck. They are a larger dealership and took allocations from 3 other dealerships to get the 4 they wanted to order. This means big dealerships take priority over smaller ones.

Thanks for the info. My dealer is a smaller dealer and usually only has around 40 new vehicles on hand with half of them being trucks. Usually they only have 3-4 super duties on the lot at a given time and they are always CCSB lariats with an XLT thrown in the mix.
