So I've had this code come up twice now, both times were on the highway traveling about 70mph. The first time was hauling a gooseneck and the second at the beginning of this week (7/14) I was running empty. The truck is a 2012 F250 with about 148000 miles. Before I take the truck to a dealer I would like to get any information on this code, I know it's for incomplete Regen but nothing noticably changes on the truck when I get the code, it still runs the same and the exhaust is still clean looking. I'm hoping it just needs to have a forced Regen done but I'm worried that the dpf might be going bad altogether. And before anyone mentions it I fully plan on deleting the exhaust in the next month or two, I just don't have the cash to do it all at the moment. Any input is greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find any information on the root cause of this code other than a basic description of what it is.
