I didn’t know exactly which selections to make. So I’ll just list off what is shown on the items I chose to monitor. If I should monitor something else please tell me?
BEFORE CRANKING Key on
Injector control pressure 0 PSI
IPR duty cycle 15%
injector control pressure 0.21V
ICP absolute 0 PSI
WHILE CRANKING
injector control pressure 201.69 PSI
ICP duty cycle 55%
ICP 0.49V
ICP absolute 201.7
the reason I’m leaving towards it being the pump is because I already tried a used motorcraft and a brand new motor craft IPR and it didn’t run & the PSI readings aren’t even close to 500 psi
her truck has 253k on it at this point
heres a link to the video of the truck cranking. Not sure if you’ll be able to read the screen or not
I'd say you have done your due diligence and verified the HPOP. Great diagnostic work man! Keep us posted so we can continue to help and share your success. You're getting close!!
Yeah looks like your IPR is reacting accordingly to the low HPOP pressure.
I just installed a T500 on our truck......haven't really tested it yet but the turnaround time was better than stated so thats a good thing. Make sure you get the new gasket too
Dang it really? Well I already ordered it up through Riffraff. I have read a few things on a few different places saying that sometimes you get a dud pump.
I just wanna get quality parts and service.
Clay at riffraff recommended terminator so I am Gibbs roll the dice and see what happens.
Are you you just saying his customer service or quality of parts have been not so good lately?

I have run several T500's and Adrenalines over the years and they both run great. I haven't had any issues from Terminator and I like the pricing, but Joey has been using a dealer network to push customer service and sales through for probably 5+ years now. So if you have questions you would contact a dealer like DPP or Riffraff on the T500.

Update. Core HPOP sent off from Oregon to California (terminator engineering) is going to get there today. Hope to see the new one by Friday. To get er up and going
Check out CNC Fab for a new pump. Corey has great customer service. T500 has been questionable lately as Joey has not been real available.
Joey, had some stuff he had to deal with a pretty decent while back, but I still never had problems getting pumps from him. I've gotten quite a bit of work done by him just within the last 3 years even while he was going through some issues. Did you order a pump and have issues getting it from him?
Joey has never had anything but stellar customer service. I've been using his pumps for close to 10 years.
Corey at CNC seems to be a good dude also, but I will keep using Joey since I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on his pumps and have yet to have issues with him or the product.
OP, If you bought it through Clay you get to use Clay for customer service and we all know his customer service is outstanding as well. He wouldn't use Joey if he wasn't able to keep his customers happy.

Two things:
First, a middle man in any customer service situation is less than desireable and not necessary. If I can get the same quality performing part from said manufacturer and talk directly to the guy who does it, you can bet it's a sure thing I will go with that guy.
Second, no I have not gotten a pump from him in the last few years for reasons stated above and I haven't needed one. I can certainly speak for others though who had issues either with a pump having to be sent back multiple times or not getting a pump in a timely manner. This is not a personal vendetta against Joey, but the simple fact of what customer service has been and how the product has performed.
Just because you dealt with some manufacturer for X number of years doesn't mean that there aren't other people who produce a quality product and probably provide much better customer service. Your experience dictates your decision-making just as others experiences dictate their decision-making.

Well. It sounds maybe like I’m rolling the dice going the direction i did. But as I said earlier I have been very happy with Clays service. He recommended them as a better option then just the super duty style 17° and it’s a little cheaper price point from what he has to offer.
We just need something that’s gonna last. Crossing our fingers hoping to get at least 200-250k out of this pump and the rest of the engine components.
I agree with BBslider, everyone’s experience will obviously be different so there will be + or - sides to everything. I’ll just do my best to give my opinion and review on my experiences. Hope all goes well!!!!
