Finally road ready

After just over a year with limited tools and bodywork knowledge, and a tight budget I managed to get my step dads 1950 f47 back on the road. All original including flathead v8 motor and 6v wiring system. Original rear fenders, I ended up buying a front end from out west that was in better shape than the original but still needed work in the usual spots. New tires brakes brake lines fuel lines new leaf springs front and rear, added turn signals in the tail lights and running lights. Wet sanded through the construction yellow paint back to its original color. I was going for the patina farm truck look and I am really happy with how it turned out! I couldn't have done it without this forum and the knowledge from all the users.

Hey Motolover,
Beautiful truck! How does it drive?

I didn't have your skills at 24!
You did a nice job getting your stepdád's truck back on the road.
Looking good up there in Canada.

Wow! I like it! Great job!

How'd you find time to do it less than a year living on that big farm?

Nice work!!! So awesome to see you getting that truck back on the road.

Beautiful pics of that northern sky. Two important questions...

1. What kind of dog is that red dog?
2. Where are you located at in Canada?

Huh... that's the first red colored lab I've ever seen. He's a good looking pup for sure. Hope he makes a good co-pilot as well!
