I am in the process of changing heads on my 351M and am in need of an 8205 adapter to mount the 351C intake to the heads. Any idea on where I may be able to get one?
Just because they are Cleveland heads doesn't mean you have to run a 351C manifold. 351C heads and 351M/400 heads are interchangeable. Just the manifolds are different because of the 351M/400 increased deck height.
So I already have the heads on and the Edelbrock Perfomer intake will not fit without an adapter. I believe Bill at Price Motorsports has an adapter that will make it work but it is not a cheap ($100) fix. Do you know of any other way to make this work for less than $400?
Pro comp heads are a copy of the CHI 3V head. The Edelbrock manifold doesn't have enough to port out, but a Weiand manifold has a lot more meat, maybe that's your solution.

Do you think that the Weiand 8010 Intake would fit without an adapter? I understand the ports would have to be adjusted still. Sorry if this is all dumb questions, I am a new to all this old motor stuff.

You don't have to adjust anything here. The intake ports are smaller than the head port opening. As long as there's meat covering the head port to allow the gaskets to seal, you're fine. Now, all this is really moot putting this effort into a 351M. These motors will not rev, no matter what heads you put on it. The pistons are too heavy for performance use. And the compression ratio is too low. The pistons sit too far down in the bore at TDC to prevent detonation.
