The zero mark on the front balancer will line up to top dead center on #1 or #6 cylinder depending which cylinder is firing on compression stroke. If you can get the #6 spark plug out, spin engine to get compression in the cylinder, rotate engine to 0degrees, look at ROTOR position SHOULD be pointing at #6 terminal, IF Not Rotate distributor to line it up. Put on Cap, Fire engine.
The SPOUT connetor on Dside Fender is a grey plug located at the EEC module.
To time the engine you need to get it running, get engine to operating temperature, Then
Turn off engine,
Remove SPOUT connector,
Start engine, set timing to 10degree BEFORE TOP DEAD Center,
TURN off Engine, Re insert SPOUT Connector plug,
Start engine reCheck timing - Timing will be around + or - 16 to 20 degres BTDC.
The computer and eec control spark timing, when the SPOUT connector is Plugged-in.

Well I got it to start and thanks for all the info. It’s not running yet because it’s low on gas and my driveway is a little steep. I can’t put gas in it cause when I had it at the last shop someone stole my filler tube. I went to the junk yard and got the only one they had and the outside rubber isn’t long enough. I tried to put gas in anyway but just come pouring out that rubber hose so I got to figure that problem out befor I can finish the timing
