I got an email advertising the OBD Link products that are on sale during the Amazon Prime Day on Monday 7/15.
The OBD LinkMX+ is on sale for $49.97 and the LinkMX is $44.99
I know that the LinkMX is the recommended one in the Forscan thread but that is also from 2016. Does the MX+ work the same? I have an iPhone and the MX+ lists it as iOS compatible whereas the regular MX does not.

For some reason the LX is the only one showing on sale. I'm in the Pacific time zone.

Which one is better, MX or MX+? Or what would the advantage be one over the other?
* I went with the MX+, seems like a good buy. The deal was almost 80% claimed in the first half hour.
