Finally tracked down the annoying squeak coming from under the dash on my truck. The nylon snubber for the brake light switch was rubbing against the metal tab on the brake pedal and squeaking. Shot of lithium grease resolved that.
I love when the source of a squeak is found! I had to put some silicon lubricant on the foam strip that runs across the bottom of the windshield behind the dash because it was making an annoying noise. I'm gonna grease the spot you did just for funsies.
