It's what's left of the predecessor to the Warn 8274. One of the best winches Warn ever built and sold for years.
I have an 8274 on my Jeep. And I have the predecessor on the back of my F-250.
It's all cable operated from inside the cab, or where ever you mount the controls..
I wrote to Warn and asked if it could be converted to use solenoids like the 8274, and they sent me the instructions to do it. I found a solenoid pack from an 8274 and bought a remote off Ebay, but I haven't done the conversion yet, it's been a great many years since i gathered the parts and got the instructions, maybe one day I'll actually do it.
You're welcome. How's it going with it, are you about done with the rebuild?
There's a picture of a green 68 F-250 in the bumpside forum with the winch on it, in case you're wondering what it looks like.
That is a Warn 8200. Ran one for years on my wheeling rig. Hell of a winch. It is not the cable operated Bellevue, it has power out and an automatic brake. The cable operation on it was only for the clutch, it runs a normal solenoid pack like an 8274.
