Typewriter Tick is back!
So after running 5w/40 for the last two oil change intervals, my typewriter tick has been absent. Now that I decided to run Motorcraft 15/40 this summer, the tick is back. There must be something in those synthetic oils that quiets these 6.7's down? Tick started around 400 miles after the oil change. Mostly a random non-rhythmic tick. Will be going back to 5w/40 in the fall.
