2. Sorry for the delayed response (I have been in the process of selling my mom's house.)
I had the plugs changed by a pro shop. I also saved them because alloro wanted to know the gap. Well, since I was selling mom's house, they got tossed out with all the associated detritus that comes with cleaning out someone else's house.
I did not get a chance to drive the original route that got my attention but with the new plugs. Even accelerating onto the interstate, it felt like the brake was on, but the wheels never got hot. I was really at a loss.
I did not check for an exhaust leak....sorry about that.
Woopud got it right.There was something wrong with the truck. It was the nameplate.
I decided that I needed a machine that would not embarrass me so I traded it in on another pickup.
