Thanks, Joe. That is a good idea. I can use the chart provided to maybe be close to the payload. My plan is to wait on the 2020's since I don't even have 2 years on my dually. The options may change some but I can play with the 19's in the meantime. I try to never get off paved roads so no FX4 is a given. I doubt there are many trucks out there optioned that way so would have to order. The 19 orders are closed and the 20's open August 14. I don't plan on being first in line to order but would like to have one in the system by November/December.

I am starting to think payload gets beat up way too much... my ram 2500 mega cab, I don't even know the payload on it, but looking at others online id say somewhere in the 1600 or lower range. I towed plenty of skidsteers, tractors, other trucks, campers etc with passengers in the vehicle. It never once felt unsafe, unstable, or not capable of performing the task. It seems like every day this payload **** comes up. over and over again it gets beat on, I want the most payload blah blah blah, I don't know what to tell everyone seeking payload buy an f550 I guess. ive never put anything behind my ram 2500 or my Silverado 2500 that made me feel unsafe.

I doubt anyone will get close to 3800lbs of payload on a door sticker on a SRW truck....much less a loaded/optioned truck with the "extras".

Its funny my loaded out f250 is 2100 payload but add 1500 lbs gvwr registration for an F350 and its not actually 1500 it seems.

Is it even possible to get to 4000 lbs on a diesel CCSB 350 SRW?

With all that said the regs around here are combined registered GVWRs and tire/axle ratings; before 26,000. Along with that you cant surpass your registered weight in the truck itself without a trailer attached. 2100 works fine for me and ive been around 3000 pin.

For the OP a 350 would work best. Why not get an f350 lariat value package off a dealer lot and go weigh it? Would be very similar to the low option king ranch. Besides maybe radar cruise and adaptive steering? Can estimate the fuel and hitch weight.

I agree with you about the payload debate to a degree. The one issue that has no room for debate is the tires. Load range “E” tires are good for 3,200lbs. So 6,400lbs on the rear axle should be the max anyone attempts.

Ive had a lot more on the pin but that is another discussion.
You must have the short bed, Here is my Platinum LB all options but PTO Found out after I had bought it the 350 was only $1500 more.

Our truck is a 2019 F350 SRW 6.2 4x2 CCSB Lariat Ultimate on the “small” 275/65R18E A/S tires and a GVWR of 10,600 lbs.:

You must have the "stripped down" Platinum! Here is the sticker from the loaded version.

I think my truck is the "worthless diesel mini van" that StonedGrey referred to. If you believe that the payload sticker defines a truck's capability, that is about right. I knew exactly what I was doing when I special ordered this fat pig. She has every piece of Platinum luxury, safety, comfort and convenience equipment plus all of the really heavy options: long bed, bed liner, fifth wheel prep, Dana axle, 3" hitch, etc. What I have is a truck built like a F-350 with a payload sticker like a F-150. Luckily, the truck does the work, not the sticker.

Yeah I didn't get the 5th wheel package, I tow an ultralight Lance TT. 6000 gvw, even that put my F150 over weight. Also didn't get the heavy tow package

I’d like to ask you for a favor that will hopefully be useful to other forum members. Specifically, would you take and post a picture of one end of one of your truck’s rear spring packs? The open question is whether there are four leaves (total) or five with the HCTTP.

Thanks!
Jim / crewzer

The HCTTP F-250 does not have five leaves, despite what the Ford spring chart states. There are three in the main pack plus the overload.

OOOOH NO the agony, how do you sleep at night knowing how unsafe you are and violating that little door sticker? your truck is definitely not capable of what youre trying to do!! that sticker in your picture says so!! OMG
