I'm in the middle of a restoration on my 65 f250 4x4 and I know something previously happened to the roof since it has been replaced with a Ford replacement skin. I was thinking maybe the cab was tweaked a little but this seems worse then I thought I put a straight door on and the top front side gap is way off I'm seeing if anyone has any input on what can be done. This is a rust free cab and already have a lot of work into it.
Wow...that is way off.... perhaps it's time to look for another top? or time to get out the saw/torch...how is the other door fitting and the measurements of the cab....is it square?
I do have another cab with a good roof on it. First full frame off restoration so been learning everything as I go and been doing fine. Cutting the roof off might be a little over my ability. The other side is a little off but not as bad. Anyone know of any links or photos of anyone cutting a roof off and replacing it? This is my dream truck and want it done right.
