Curious if anyone has seen or bought this hitch....
It's sold by retailer and the model is ecohitch. Receiver hitch is located in the license plate opening above the bumper not below like other brands. Which I like. Also, has 10,000 line pull and 1,000 vertical load ratings (2x's the competition)
The front bumper needs to be removed for install but that's a piece of cake so no worries there
I'll post pics once I get it on for anyone that is interested
Yep, gas only. I tried one of those hitches on my diesel truck before they knew it was gas-only. No way it was going to fit unless the oil cooler components were relocated.
The TorkLift front hitch _should_ work with the adaptive cruise control sensor that is mounted behind/within the bumper. It shouldn't block that at all.
Subscribed. Please let me know if it will interfere with the adaptive cruise sensor. Thanks!
It won't interfere with the adaptive cruise control sensor. But that hitch won't fit a diesel 2017+, the cooler components are in the way. 2017+ gas engine is fine.
Tough looking hitch and I like how it is up behind the license plate -- not hanging down reducing ground clearance. Install time around 2 hrs according to website. I'm guessing all year models will have to remove bumper for install -- don't know what that involves, but it can't be too bad. Either way - still tough looking.

Bumper is simple to remove.
4 bolts for lower side brackets (2 ea side)
8 bolts at tow hooks (tow hooks unaffected)
Unless you have fog lights or other sensors that's it.
There is a plastic frame clip on passenger side that holds tranny cooler line to frame that gets removed. I cut off the plastic insert or grommet from the clip since the hitch mount is right at the location of the clip. Left clip on coolant line to keep separation from frame
Nice hitch...just have to find a reason to buy one!
Winch mount.
Bikes when towing
Step to access engine with out ladder
Place to mount chair platform when mother-in-law gets too chatty. Lol
Nah, she's alright when not in my truck. 😯
