The step on my tailgate seems to come unlatched frequently. Probably on bumps etc...
Anyone else having this issue?

Gonna have the dealer take a look on my next visit.

 

40,000km, I have never had it come unlatched and I drive a lot of bumpy roads and lots of washboard gravel. Somethings wrong with yours.

Set up a camera in the bed to watch the tailgate. You're going to need to catch it coming unlatched on camera. Otherwise, the dealer is simply going to say, "Unable to duplicate."

Mine has never come unlatched. Mine was replaced under warranty, because it wouldn't pop out after being unlatched.

 

Make sure you close it hard. I’ve never had a problem with it solidly latched. But it can seem like it’s latched and not if you’re treating it like a kitchen drawer.

 

15k and no issue with mine yet . Let us know what dealer says .
