Parked my 2019 250 Lariat last night around 10 pm. This morning it was a perfect morning so I chose to take the bike to work. After backing the bike out into the driveway I looked into the truck. Man those windows look clean... A little too clean...walked over and sure enough both front windows were open. And the doors were unlocked.
1, theres no way I did that last night.
2, I was loading up the bike and carrying my truck keys in my pocket.
3, I have remote start.
So is it possible the key fob pressed into my leg and caused that?
I read where you can program certain things to happen with remote start in Forscan, like A/C on or heated seats.
Is it possible my truck is programmed to open the windows if its hot and I hit remote start?
If so how do In un program this crap before it opens itself up in the rain?

To roll the windows down requires you to press and release unlock once, then hold the unlock button until they start to roll down, a few seconds. If that sequence happened in your pocket thats impressive haha. After the windows start to roll down another push of the unlock button stops them.
I’ve inadvertently done this exact thing. I think I carried something inside from my wife’s car and then a couple of hours went back outside and my truck windows were down. I put it together that I must have push that fob sequence while carrying whatever it was inside probably resting it up against my leg and the wall to open the back door therefore probably holding the fob down to do so while it was in my pocket.
Dayummm, I thought I was the only one able to perform that feat with the key in my pocket. I thought my truck had gremlins for a while! The good news is that this can be changed on the dashboard using the steering wheel controls. Without being in my ride, I don’t remember the sequence but use the menu arrows and the “ok” button you can turn this off. The truck has to be running and in park.
I was walking to my vehcile and hit the unlock button and the vehcile just like mine uncloked at the same time as mine did.
I couldn't believe it so I locked and unlocked the "other" vehcile to be sure I was seeing what I was seeing.

Whoah, thats not good. Was it another Superduty or even a Ford?

Find this hard to believe. Key fobs use rolling codes that should never align with that of another vehicle. I don’t know, maybe it’s a one in a million kind of scenario.

I had a neighbors garage door opener do this one time. I had changed my code for some reason (years ago). I always backed my truck into the garage in a subdivision, so I drove out facing forward then closed the garage door as I was driving out. I would leave around 4 am, so I thought it was odd that the neighbors garage door was opening as I was leaving. Happened for a few days and then I saw him with a ladder messing around with his opener. It dawned on me what might be happening so I reprogrammed my opener again and it stopped happening. Never told the neighbor.
OK guys thanks for all the info. Ill have to sit there and see how to turn this off. I can see where it might be nice to let the hot out but I definitely dont need this option.
i had the same thing happen with my fusion, but not in my f250.
In the fusion a double press of the unlock opens opens the windows. A double press of lock closes them. I had unlocked and rolled the windows down then went back in the house. I came out and the windows were up and the doors locked. I figured it out fairly quick when I walk back into the house and the car horn did the one beep to verify the car was locked.
Fob was in my pocket in such a way that the lock button was being pressed.
The f250, a 2017 at least, needs Forscan to active the lock close window feature. I’m not sure if the windows down can be disabled in the truck menu system. Maybe it can be disabled with Forscan.
