Bedrail Clearance Issue

Looking for some assistance. I have the Andersen hitch and love it. I’d like to put a cover over the bed, something secure, but looks like I have a clearance issue with the side rails.

Running a 350 CCSB and a Reflection 303. I have the coupler forward, which moves the pin box back about 4-5 inches. If I reverse the coupler, the tailgate will hit the front of the trailer when hooking up.

I was was looking at the Paragon (ready to buy it until I took one last look) or something similar but, when making a turn, the pin box comes within 3/4 of an inch from the bed rail. Doesn’t look like there is room for anything that would need a track that would go inside the bed rails.

Any suggestions?

If you are talking about towing a 5th wheel trailer, one solution is to cut about 2 inches off the pinbox flanges that would hit the side rails. That would give you a couple of more inches of clearance.
