Why? Multiple shocks are a thing of the past when you would slap on 2 stock, or close to stock, spec shocks to control oversized tires. There's such a large variety of shocks available at a reasonable price now, just get a quality shock rated for your truck. If you want the best ride possible, look into aftermarket companies like Fox, Carli, etc who custom valve their shocks for specific model trucks.
