2001 Excursion Limited Seats

Im looking to replace the seats in my 2001 Excursion Limited. Ideally I'd like to find bench seats that have shoulder straps in the center. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe that any of the standard X middle row bench seats has shoulder belts in the middle. So, you'll have to go to like an F25/350 back row to get that from a later year. There's been a few folks that have done that. Check out the tech folder here in the X forum, there may be something there.

If you have second row captains chairs, and want to go to the bench, a trade would be appropriate (and I'd be interested).

Thanks a million. Currently have a bench in the middle but with 6 kids and every seatbelt full my wife has been thinking a shoulder belt would be nice. Do you think it's easier to find new seats or just have the ones currently in it redone? How difficult is the swap to a seat from an F25/350?

I’d dig around your local Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. I bet you’ll find multiple options. I think only certain years match up with the bolts, but I don’t know what they are, unfortunately. You probably could find a thread or three here where folks ah e done it using the search function in the forum. I looked in the tech folder and didn’t see anything.
