So I have been working and have let a local old car-truck restoration autobody shop do the work... It will be a semi frame up restoration, and a few new goodies. Going to a 38 gallon tank, key fob entry, new speakers, eventually a new radio, new rubber around the glasses, felt, fixing the dents, small pin holes, ECT & ECT
So, now I know that I am asking for this... What y'all think about a 460 & a ZF6 ?
As for seats... Was thinking about a newer 60/40 split with a console.
So this is more of a retro-mod than an OEM job. And yes it will get 4 wheel disc brakes.
Cool project! I've been thinking about a seat upgrade myself. I'm not sure about how the newer styling seats look in these older trucks, but maybe you will find the right combo.
If you are going retro-mod, what about a coyote engine swap? I think 4wd swap kits are becoming a thing.
Cant go wrong with a big block and I think a ZF6 would be awesome but whats the adapter going to cost? I don't think they came to mate to the 335/385 series engine. Just looked at advance adapters they don't even list an adapter for bbf
