95 explorer--blower/ventelation sys

I just bought a 95 explorer with a few minor problems. The most confusing one for me is the air from the ac/heater doesn't work through the front vents but the back seat one works fine. I checked all fuses and even pulled the stereo out and checked some wires to the temp/controll panel, no luck there. However I do hear air blowing with the back controll turned off and the front turned on. Any suggestions on what else to check for would be great.

Try checking the vacuum lines that go to your control panel. It sounds like you have a line broke.

Cabin air sys

Does anybody know where I can get a copy of a digarm of the vaccum sys? So I can have a better idea of which line to look for. Or can anyone give me a better idea of where to look?

There should be a cluster of about 6 vacuum lines that connects to your Heater/AC control panel. I believe that it connects right behind the lever that switches from AC to Panel to Floor, etc. That is more than likely where your leak is occurring.
I have a diagram for 1993-1994 Explorer, but I don't know if the 95 is the same setup.
If you want, I can send it to your email.
Good Luck!!

ac/heater Insturment cluster

Two days ago I pulled the stereo and climate controll cluster out and it all seems to be electical connections to the panel. Unless you are talking about vacumm sensors to the panel, but it is all electrical connections. I may not have a clue what I'm talking about so please feel free to correct me!

Anybody with this problem ever figure out what the culprit was? I have the same problem on my 2000 Mountaineer.

Yeah, I found a vacuum line that had fallen off, it was the connection on something I described as a grapefruit size ball thing, it has one line comming from the interior control panel connecting on top and another line on bottom connecting to (I believe) intake manifold, or where ever the vaccume comes from. Hope this helps.
