Been busy . Disassembly and installed new NOS head light panels , NOS FoMoCo headlights . wired up . Waiting on Rat Rod Randy to bring the straightened bumper , RS fender extension panel & painted gravel pan back . Be back on the show car scene soon . Did a little chassis detail while the front end was off . Sanding & painting all the bolts , nuts & washers was PITA .
Exactly, but my auto paint store could not find a PPG equivalent number for the Vermillion. Seems their cross references did not go back that far.
Is there something I should be telling them?
So what brand are you using?
Are you just doing a one stage paint? No clear coat?
You have a beautiful truck there, and I am very sorry this happened. Especially on Father's Day! You are making great progress and I appreciate you keeping us up to date. A couple of questions if you will:
1. When the guy started up his COE, was he sitting inside his truck? Or did he just do it just through the driver's side window?
2. I agree 100% with you on Neutral/Park safety switches. I added one to my 56 which is an automatic. I do not really know much about Concours shows but when you have a Concours quality truck like yours, are you allowed to add an non OE neutral safety switch as a safety item?
Looking forward to more pictures on your progress.
