Some issues dealing with OBD code 522
Hi all first post on here, I picked up a project 94 f150 xl 4wd with the 4.9l6 and a M50d trans , well now the time has come to smog it and the only code it’s throwing is 522 on the koeo test.
From my understanding and research the only things that could be wrong here are the clutch switch, or E brake sensor?
anyways I’ve tried quite a number of methods including having the clutch pedal to the floor. I’m assuming my E brake is fine because I had to do a full brake and light inspection, and I had to throw extra money at the shop regardless. With the brake out of the way, I though I narrowed it down to the clutch sensor so I bought a new one and no dice. I finally ended up completely bypassing the clutch sensor and still no results.
in a nutshell I’m pretty much stumped at this point and need to know what I missed and where?
