Been awhile since I've been here. My brakes are now acting up. Here's what is going on: Sometimes at idle I can push the brake pedal all the way to the floor. When I push the brake pedal there is a noticeable reduction in engine rpm. There is a minute humm when I apply the brakes. There is a thumping noise when I apply the brakes going down the road--maybe 40 mph. I read some of the brake threads here so this is what I have done so far. I checked all fluid levels--all good. I raised all four tires off the ground and spun each one with no grinding or grabbing. I check the ball joints--no wiggle or give anywhere, I engaged/dis-engaged manual lockouts and all work fine. There is a very small lip on the rotors but otherwise no scratches or grooves to be seen. Serpentine belt looks good. Can't see any leaks anywhere. No problem with steering eather. Not sure what else to check. This came on all of a sudden. Truck is a 2006 F350 with 6.0. Truck has 113K miles. Thanks for reading this.

All the way to the floor indicates a possible bad master cylinder or something up at a wheel. Check all the pads and pins calipers etc first.
Which means disassemble everything on each wheel.. Check rubber lines also.
