Wiring speakers
So my speakers suddenly stopped working and I thought maybe I blew them out, so I removed an old one and tried one of the new speakers only to find out it didn’t work. So I pulled out my stereo and used needles in the speaker wires that hook up to the stereo and they worked from there but not from where the speakers are placed does anyone know how to go about replacing the old ones?

Your aftermarket stereo system is only as good as the install. If they all quit working you likely have a pair shorted together somewhere causing the radio to protect. I would start by removing the tape ball as suggested above. I would then check each pair out anywhere it is going through a boot or a plug. Doors are likely culprits as pinching is possible, though not likely if it is factory wiring in factory boots. If you have a multimeter, then you can check each pair for shorting and you should be able to narrow if pretty quick. If you are using a meter, unplug the radio and speaker to completely isolate the wiring. Speakers will give you a reading of something close to 2 or 4 ohms (it will say what the value should be on the back of the speaker) if they are good.
