So I have a 1999 7.3 327k. First of all about a month ago my truck broke down driving a trailer home then I waited 30 minutes tried again and drove it home fine. Fast forward a month truck has no power barely gets out of its own way. I’ve changed icp, idm, new fuel filter, changed screens in fuel tank not sure if it’s electrical or boost leak. Truck didn’t smoke at all when broke down but the first start of the day the truck will smoke a little bit but then no smoke. Not sure where to go from here any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Have you tried the CPS? Mine would stutter a bit before final and full failure... luckily in my FILs driveway. had the spare in the glove box and changed it out. Been good ever since.
Do these error codes come back consistently after clearing them? Is everything on the engine in stock configuration (e.g. intake air heater is still connected, EBPV is not deleted, etc etc)?

————No after cleared only one that returns would be the pcm and air box sensor one but I heard they come on if you change tunes or take a tuner to stock and I have an aftermarket intake with the sensor disconnected.

Return the truck to the factory tune and clear codes again. If the P0603 code returns, you may need a new PCM.
Would a bad pcm cause power loss truck starts sounds like it’s running good but is a pooch.and on stock setting I believe it returned——also I’m looking to get a wireless scanner able to buzz test,do you know of any? Thanks.
I forgot to mention that you should check all our grounds first.
P0603 desription: https://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0603
Note the part that says:
"In some cases, there may be performance problems, such as dying when coming to a stop and/or misfire-like symptoms"
So loss of power is within the realm of possibility.

My 99 f350 7.3 in stock setting feels dead no power at all but with bullydog tuner it came to life. The pcm is not likely to go out but alot of other stuff is and it will make even the best mechanic point at the pcm been bad but its not. Ground, pin spread on connectors like at fire wall under hood driver side 10mm make sure there tight. Hate to say it because you know i am sure but air is your friend more air more power make sure all air intake is clean and clear.
