Radius bushing technique

So I have to get my truck finished and put back together today after work. Got the pass side done other than 2 more bracket bolt to put in. My plan for the drivers side is just take off 1,1/8 bolt and come along the axle fwd until the radius is clear, then put back together. No jacking up truck, no spring removal. Reason being I'd my frame sits 2.5 feet off ground, and I do not have any type of stands that can reach when truck is on ground much less lifted up. Tried removing bracket in pass side, as was told it was that easy, but as some know that ended very bad with a hospital visit. Don't see why it wouldn't work, but what do you guys think?

I've seen it done like that by a buddy of mine. And he was done in minutes. But I wouldn't do it myself due to the stress it seems to put on the I-beam attachment bushings. Those guys are a PITA to replace. But they have been known to last forever. I put well over 300k on a truck that never needed them.
