Odb2 no communication
Need help snap on scanner worked about a week ago but now no communication trying to find out why it keeps shutting off has been doing just fine and drove to work one day and on way home started losing rpms and the it came back to life then about two miles down road shut off then started and ran fine week later doing something

As mentioned check the fuse. If that is good then you need to do some troubleshooting to make sure you don't have a busted wire between the obd2 port and pcm. Then start checking grounds.
The drive-ability issues could be a handful of different sensors acting up, bad grounds, weak batteries, FICM issues.....

I had the same issue with my OBDII port when I first purchased my EX. Check the fuse for the cigarette lighter, I can't remember the exact location but it's in the fuse box under the hood. it's an odd amp size fuse, but mine was blown. changed it out and the OBDII powered up again.
