If it is a fuse, you will want to check fuse #41, or fuse #110. It all depends on your truck. Some trucks use 41. Some trucks use 110.

did you pull 110 and replace it, or just look at it ? Check power to the pin on one side ?

replaced it and yes I have power on one side, I love the truck but dang lol. I also have tested the wire coming out of fuse box for the cigar obd2 port and it is not hot even with a jumper wire in fuse 110 spot. so I pulled a hot with in line fuse from bat and tied into the cigar lighter but still no luck on obd port. could a bad ground be in play here?

Check fuse 41. On some trucks, it's fuse 41.

How did you check the continuity?
And when you checked continuity did you have fuse #110 removed?
How many ohms between the non-powered side of the fuse receptacle to pin #16 of the DLC?

I checked from dlc pin 16 to fuse 110 and got nothing then from pin 16 to the wire coming out of fuse box and all was good, dropped it off at ford this morning and they called with the problem, bad fuse box. he said that was common for them to go bad. luckily the carlot I got it from has agreed to pay for it do the air bag light being on when I bought it, so I will post if that is the fix. I thank everyone that has to the time to heip.

Good job! Since you had continuity from the LB/WH wire at the fuse box to pin 16 of the DLC, that pin points the problem within the fuse box. If that was the case, I was gonna suggest pulling the fuse box, flipping it over and check the fuse 110 contacts for green stuff (trademark :-)
I guess it’s too late now.

It's common for fuse boxes to go bad? That's news to me. We're always learning something new.

Not common like it happens on half of them, but I've seen a lot of them here in the short time I've been a member so far.
