Odometer issues Help

I got my truck back from the tranny shop. 1976 Ford F250 2wd 360 with the T18 tranny Had to have all new gears, reverse and cluster, and all new bearings. Drives great now that you can shift it even if it is a little stiff getting into 3rd gear. The problem is the odometer does not advance but the speedometer is working but off by about 5 miles per hour at 50. I took it apart and found that the gear drive was not round and not touching for the numbers advance. Is there available any repair for this or does this mean a new speedometer head? I have included pictures above.
As far as the odometer not working, it looks like the one gear is about to turn to dust. Does anything look "adjusted" bent/loosened and moved inside the cluster? Like around what holds the blue wheel in its position?
In your second pic I see what looks like a broken piece of white instrument cluster material. ND will be here shortly to tell us what years they are prone to turn to dust.
As far as the plastic turning to a powder when I first got the truck 20 years ago and I took the instrument cluster out it did simply powder in my hands. Did they use that same material for the gears inside the speedometer?

On the other hand maybe not. $ wow. But now is the time to go from a 80 MPH to a 100 MPH. Cause we all know we need a 100 MPH one. lol
I don't have any used 100 MPH speedo heads, but I do have a few 85 MPH heads I'd sell. I do have an NOS 100 MPH speedo head, but it wouldn't be cheap.
I suspect that one end or the other of the blue gear is worn or broken off. It is probably possible to replace just the gears with good used, but I've never been able to get the speedo needle off to allow disassembly of the speedo head to get to the gears.
Your 5 MPH off isn't too bad, the 2013 F250 I drive with electronic speedo is off that much or more. To correct you would need to change the driven gear tooth count on the speedo cable by 10%. This would be a change up or down in the count, depending on if the speedo reads fast or slow. Sometimes a new speedo head reads a little different & can correct an error as well, if you are lucky.

But the parts were available from speedometer shops, the OP will have to locate one, then send his speedo in to have the odometer replaced or....replace the speedometer.
