front 7 rear diffs leaking?

front & rear diffs leaking?
I've was pulling apart my dana 44 front and dana 60 rear to do the brakes. When i pulled the front hubs off, diff oil started leaking out. Same with the rear. When I slid the rear axles out diff fluid started to leak out. I'm thinking that this is not good. The inboard seals are supposed to prevent any diff fluid from leaking out right? What is involved in replacing those inboard seals?

There shouln't be aby connection between the gear section and the outer hub area on the front axle. If you have a closed knuckle front some of the lube from the knickle may have seeped in, there is nothing to prevent that and it is no cause for alarm. I assume you are dealing with an F-250 and if so you have a floating rear axle and the gear lube is what lubes the wheel bearings also, even so never put the bearings in with out prelubing them as it takes a while for any gearlube to get out there from the center.
