Water In Cab
I don't think it is the windshield. The drains inside the fenders were full of gunk. The seam where firewal meets the cab seems to have a few cracks in the seams here and there. The seal around the vents are shot.
If I can ever get the thing to completely dry out after taking a water hose to it, I plan on using some RTV and ruberised undercoating to help seal it up.
I also got new weather stripping for around my doors, as I think it was leaking around the old seals.
On the passenger side I stuck the water hose into the fender, it started back up in the vent. Then all of the sudden water started pouring right underneath where the heater core is. I have no idea where that is coming from.
Anyway, does this sound familar to anyone?
Sounds like the truck needs a really good going over with a waterproof sealer, rtv isn't going to help in the long run, it'll leak again after its dry and summer kicks in and your back to a leaky seams again.....
Does anyone have a sealer to recommend?
