Any else have this issue, my dealer has replaced the guide rails twice and it's still the same, super freaking annoying as it gets worse and worse over time. Had enough with the dealer trying to fix this. Any suggestions ?
On my 2016, it did the same.
The cure was to clean BOTH the seal AND the metal painted surface in contact with the seal. Once clean, put spray silicone on the seal. Be protective of the paint. I used a rag to cover the over spray from the can’s straw. Just don’t need it all over the roof.
I did this once every 6 months, and never heard a peep. Prior, it drove me nuts.
Thanks all for the replies, yes the glass/frame seems to creak over every bump, the dealer says its because the guide rails are broken but they have replaced them twice and it's still the same. I just assumed the glass roof just don't fit that good or is a bad design. I love the look and the light it provides but it's bull on a truck which I spend 70K on.

The roof works/functions fine

Try the recommendations by myself and others. It’ll likely go away.
This time I used dielectric grease ( silicone).
Worked great, easy to apply, a little thinner than what I used before.
So far its the best I have tried.

Ford recommends Krytox 205. I bought a tube off of Amazon and follow the sunroof cleaning TSB about once every 6 months or so. My pano roof (fingers crossed) works quietly and flawlessly. There is a TSB (16-0020) outlining how to lube it. It takes about 10 minutes. https://www.f150forum.com/attachment...tsb16-0020.pdf
