Cluster swap
Hey everyone,
I have a f250 ccsb 4x4 2012 6.2.
I have one of those small screen on my cluster and I wanted to upgrade to those I think 4" screen one for 2012 f250.
Now, I've done a lot of research trying to get to conclusion. If I were not to use forscan and just swap them out directly, what are the drawbacks? Would it not work at all? Would I lose some functions? or what kind of issues am I looking at?

it all depends on how your truck is configured versus the config of the donor cluster. if the donor had options your truck does not, those options,setting.screens will be enabled in the cluster. In some cases it might result in diagnostic code errors. if you truck has options that the donor truck did not have, then the cluster may not allow you to access settings or screens to enable or view those settings.
