New guy from England.

I'm Gideon from the U.K
Avid petrolhead with a few old Cars and Bikes all pre 1962 but joining this site to help with my 1960 F100 Panel Truck.original L6 auto box
VIN F10J0R53420
Purchased in Los Angeles 8 years ago and shipped to the U.K by myself and a buddy.
I drove it for a couple of years then other projects took over.so she has been laid up for 5 years.
Well I just started getting her back on the road so may be asking a few questions soon.
I will join the registry once I get the rest of the VIN plate info.

53420 = 1960 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

Be careful that you don't drive on the right side of the road in your LHD Ford truck.

When I was in the UK in 1999, it felt weird driving on the left side of the road in a rented RHD Vauxhall.

Where do I post tech questions?

Hi all, I need some answers and opinions on a few tech questions do I post in this 57-60 group or the main forum?.
I don't use any social media platforms or other forums so I don't understand the rules

Thanks I was thinking that, shame that 1 barrel is a 1904,
I have 4 x 1904 carbs they all leak fuel onto the manifold,
I will start another thread on that when I get the other issues sorted.

Nice looking truck. Rebuild kits are readily available here in US for 1904. Shipping, tax, and vat would double your cost though. Hucknall is a small town near Nottingham in Robin Hood country. At one time it was famous for it's coal mines and has the church where Lord Byron is buried.

I actually bought a recon one and it's started to leak from the top, I put in a fuel regulater and it stopped for a while but it's back again.
Trouble is it leaks onto the exhaust manifold kinda makes me stop every 5 mile to check it.
I've been through Nottinghamshire but never stayed there nice countyside

My 1904 holley was shot on my 60' i bought this from here and all leaks sorted, the guy is a real star to, answering emails the the same day.

my most stubborn leak was from the copper washer connecting the fuel inlet to the float assembly, a quick anneal and all sorted.

Cool looking truck, good luck with the resto.
