WANTED - C 6000 TO C8000 CAB

Greetings on and all,
looking for a replacement single cab ( not extended as fire tender- ) as my truck has surrendered to white ants from this cab extension in the 80's.
Need this to be on the west coast in a salvage yard nearest to Compton CA.
East Coast is tooo cost prohibitive as it then needs a trip over the pacific to the little island down under.
regards

C6000/8000 is a C600/800 with a diesel engine. 1957/71 C500/1100 & 1972/86 C550/900 would use the similar cab.

The only source I'm aware of in CA that may be able to help you is:

Southern California Truck Wrecking / 8229 S. Alameda Street / Los Angeles CA 90001 / 323-587-3144 speak with Marty, he's the owner.

The last time I was there, Marty had a C series Tilt Cab, but what year it was, I dunno. If Marty doesn't have one, ask him to put your request on the Wreckers "hot line."

Marty is located fairly close to Compton, where I assume your shipper is located. It's one of the roughest areas in L/A County, I would not drive there at night!

For anyone that reads this thread, the OP is located in New South Wales...Australia.

Thank you ND,

Sincerely hope this message finds you well and active.

As per usual , just like my spare parts manager at my past dealerships....
More contacts than a phone company and more angles than a compass !

Marty's phone will be ringing... as the only one I could find is over on the east coast on evilbay,

Just shipping home a 62' Unibody Slick this week with a Gemtop sports canopy on it.
I have never seen a rear wellback top like this on a unibody... it sealed the deal !
F10 C R 261036
Hopefully decoded as 2wd / 292 / San Jose / Feb 62 built.

Many thanks ND...

regards

I know this isn't just a cab. How about this have the seller remove all of the stuff on the back. It is in Cali.
