Is there a way to look up a 64 F100’s data if all I have is the VIN? I can’t find a data plate on the door area and the glove box has the remnants of a tag of paper on the inside. VIN is:
F10- F100 2WD
C- V8 292-2v 135hp@ 3800rpm
E- Mahwah NJ
493406- 64 model year in sequence
I was told it was a NC School Bus maintenance truck (it was SB Yellow at one point). It is a SWB and has a Custom Cab instrument cluster and Custom Cab door handles. Any help is welcome, I’m at the end of what I can think to research.

VIN: F10CE493406
F10-= F100 2WD
C = 292-2V does not decode to: 135hp @ 3800rpm
E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant.
493406 = 1964.

If the Warranty Plate is missing, you're out of luck. Ford THREW AWAY all the records for 1961/66 trucks decades ago.
It may be possible to reconstruct the missing Warranty Plate, but you'll have to do the research for the missing info.
Thank you for the info, I have my shop manual out and now have some additional research ideas. Won’t be able to find all info as the truck has been modified before I bought it. Gotta love a 55yo vehicle!
