CPO maintenance

Anybody have any experience with certified pre owned 3.5L ecoboost and the maintenance schedule? Will they void my CPO warranty if I do it all myself and keep logs, or do I have to have it done at the dealership every time to keep the warranty? Cant find anything in the paperwork, I am sure I am just missing it.

If the maintenance schedule is part of the CPO, more than likely you’ll have to have a Ford dealer do said maintenance.
With that being said, I’m sure the info is in your paperwork and you should be able to find said info online by typing in Ford CPO.

Back a few years ago My Ford dealer offered engines for life on all USED vehicles. If you changed your own oil they required you come by and show the recipts and let them check the oil level. It was much easier and not much more exspensive to just have them change the oil, when I first started it was only $7.00 dollars more. Plus for $10 more dollars they rotated the tires. I'm not going to rotated the tires for $10.00, plus having to dispose of the oil and filters, for $7.00. Then when I bought my first Screw, 2007, they gave me oil changes for life I just had to pay $10.00 to get the tires rotated. They changed the oil every 3 mons ot 3,000 miles. I kept that truck for 5 years and they had to change the oil twice in one month on 2 seperate months because of trips I had to make. They never complained or said anything but they quit offering it. LOL. What the charge now, the cost is still about the same over the price of doing it mys self except now ever 5th oil change is free and the give a rebate on any and all service done with bonus credit you can apply to and and all purchases.

You can do your own maintenance. You can also log it into the owner website.
